Tonight hubby and I stopped in to Irie Palace for dinner. We had hoped to listen to some reggae, but there was a DJ playing for a private party. We will definitely be back for music and the amazing food. We ordered the jerk chicken dinner and 2 jerk chicken tacos. The dinner came with bone in chicken pieces with spicy sauce, grilled to perfection. It was juicy, tender and so flavorful. The sides were very tasty too - cabbage, beans and rice and plantains. The jerk chicken tacos were huge! Filled with jerk chicken, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and served with sour cream on the side. We washed it all down with Red Stripe.
Service was fast and very friendly, and the owner talked to us about their Packer Sunday specials. We will definitely keep Irie Palace on our list of favorites. -

Wow. Terrible. I had a taste for some oxtails and this was one of the few Jamaican places open on a Sunday. The plantains were like cardboard, cabbage soggy and drenched in juice, and shortly after eating half of the dry rubbery oxtails they all heaved back up. I had to throw the rest away. Never again. This place used to be good when it was off Appleton ave.

Sorry to say but this was the worse experience I had with a Jamaican Restaurant. The Jerk egg rolls didn't have any jerk flavor, barely had and chicken in it. Seemed like I was eating a veggie egg roll. The Brown stew chicken was extremely cold. I had to warm it up in the microwave at home. Not a place I will be returning to for food. Very disappointed.

The one positive, the beer was cold. The bathroom was disgusting. Three stalls full of toilet paper feces and urine and none could be flushed. The floors were dirty, the place was overall dirty. I decided not to order food based on the appearance. Not sure I would never risk going back. Also to note, this was at the location on North Granville rd

Soooo bomb!
First time in Wisconsin for a graduation and a cousin took me here.
We inhaled everything in 17 minutes. So flavorful and satisfying.
